Republic of Ireland winger James McClean is weighing up offers to make a move to Major League Soccer, sources told ESPN.

McClean is set to leave Wigan after the 2013 FA Cup winners were relegated to League One, with McClean due to fly to the United States to discuss a possible move to several interested MLS clubs.

New York Red Bulls and Orlando City are among the clubs reported by the Irish media to be considering a move for the 26-year-old, who has expressed an interest in making the move to America.

McClean is a regular in the Republic of Ireland squad and he could join compatriots Robbie Keane (LA Galaxy), Kevin Doyle (Colorado Rapids) and Sean St Ledger (Orlando City) plying their trade in America.
