Orlando City midfielder Kevin Molino tears ACL in right knee

Orlando City midfielder Kevin Molino will likely miss the rest of the season after tearing the ACL in his right knee on Sunday.

Molino, 24, was injured after 16 minutes in Sunday's friendly against Brazilian side Ponte Preta at the Citrus Bowl.

"We are obviously devastated for Kevin," Orlando City coach Adrian Heath says. "He was having a great start to the season, his first in MLS. He'll work with the team physicians from Orlando Health to make sure he undergoes a full recovery and comes back in top form."

The Trinidadian international, a two-time MVP in the USL before Orlando joined MLS, was among the league leaders in creating chances this season.
