Snow forces Philadelphia Union to push FC Dallas game to Saturday

The Philadelphia Union's match against FC Dallas set for Friday night has been postponed one day because of snow at PPL Park.

The clubs agreed to push the game back to 4 p.m. on Saturday, citing safety concerns from the weather conditions in the Philadelphia area.

"We had every intention to play our match as originally scheduled, but the current weather conditions will challenge the safety of our fans, players, and staff, and they always will be our first priority," Union CEO and Operating Partner Nick Sakiewicz said.

"With a sunny day in the high 50's forecasted for tomorrow, we look forward to welcoming everyone to a magnificent setting at PPL Park."

The area was expected to get about 2-4 of snow, making getting to the game in suburban Chester a challenge.
