Lyon's Nabil Fekir returns to Lyon squad after injury layoff

Lyon attacker Nabil Fekir is back in the squad for the game at Montpellier after returning from a cruciate ligament injury on schedule.

France international Fekir, 22, looked certain to miss Euro 2016 when he had to undergo surgery on the injury, which he suffered while playing for his country last September.

But last season's Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year, who returned to training recently, said he was targeting a league return against Montpellier and could get back to his best in time for the summer.

And on Thursday, he tweeted that he was "on the list for Montpellier-OL."

Speaking last week, he told RMC a place in the Euro 2016 squad remained his goal and added: "I know it's going to be difficult, but I'm going to do everything I can.

"I'm lacking rhythm. I can feel that at training... but that will come back with matches. I'm not at all worried on that level."
