Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp praises revival in win at Swansea

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp voiced frustration at his side's first-half performance but felt they ended up deserved 2-1 winners at Swansea on Saturday.

The Merseysiders went second in the Premier League table after producing a second-half turnaround, securing a fourth consecutive league win after Leroy Fer had given Swansea the lead at the break.

Roberto Firmino got the visitors back on level terms before James Milner converted his fourth penalty of the season late on.

And speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Klopp was more than satisfied with the response from his men.

"We are really happy in this moment," he said. "The second half was like how the whole game should be.

"We are really angry about ourselves in the first half because the body language was not good, too late in mind, all that stuff. I think the Swansea goal was offside -- I'm pretty sure it was offside -- but that's not important any more.

"It's 1-0 down and nothing else happened in this first half. But we showed a reaction in the second half and that's important.

"We can lose football games, and we will lose football games in the future, but you have to show the minimum part of your usual face. That's what we showed in the second half and it was all Liverpool. It was a deserved win at the end I think."

The German said Swansea had played well in the first half but added that "you're always as good as the opponent lets you be."

He added: "It should not be that easy to disturb our build up but it was static -- we had no orientation, we were not really awake, so it was easy to defend."
