Liverpool's Marko Grujic targets 'more minutes in the Premier League'

Marko Grujic is hoping to earn more opportunities with Liverpool in the Premier League after making his first appearance at Anfield on the weekend.

Grujic, 20, came off the bench in the 74th minute of Saturday's 5-1 win over Hull City to make his Anfield bow, having made his first start for the club earlier in that week as he played the entire 90 minutes of the EFL Cup third-round victory at Derby County.

"Every player and the people in the stadium enjoyed the game," Grujic told the club's official website. "It was my first game at Anfield and the feeling was incredible.

"We played very well and scored three goals in the first half, and then we continued the same in the second half. I was happy to get some more minutes, it's nice to be part of it.

"All of the players in my position, and other positions, are playing very well. We have had good results to start the season. We will be better from week to week. I will try to show my skills in training to get more minutes in the Premier League."
