Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo has said he wants to force his way into manager Jurgen Klopp's plans during his loan spell at Championship side Wolves.

Ojo, 18, moved to Molineux in the summer after having been named as a substitute for two league games under previous manager Brendan Rodgers.

The England under-21 international said Klopp was monitoring his progress with Kenny Jackett's Wolves side and told the Liverpool Echo: "He's just said to me to keep my head down, keep working hard and we'll see what the future holds.

"I think he's come to see me a couple of times, which is nice to hear, and hopefully I can keep on improving and doing well.

"With the right guidance, I think I can do well in this team."

He said he hoped to follow the trail blazed by Jordon Ibe, who returned from a loan spell with Derby last season to establish himself in the first-team picture at Anfield.

"He went out on loan last season and then got recalled back so it goes to show that if you do well on loan you get the chance to be called back and go straight into the first team," he said.

"That's my main aim to keep doing well and I do get the call back, I just need to impress the manager and hopefully I can start playing for Liverpool on a regular basis."
