Daniel Sturridge to make Liverpool return after internationals - sources

Liverpool hope Daniel Sturridge will return from injury after this month's international break, sources have told ESPN FC.

Sturridge, 26, has not yet been available to new Reds boss Jurgen Klopp after picking up a knee problem in training last month.

The England striker has missed Klopp's first five games in charge and is unlikely to be risked for the matches against Rubin Kazan and Crystal Palace -- in the Europa League and Premier League respectively -- before the upcoming international break.

As a result, Sturridge is set to miss out on Roy Hodgson's England squad for the friendlies with Spain and France later this month.

Liverpool have now pencilled Sturridge in for a return to action against former club Manchester City on Nov. 21.

The striker has made just three appearances this season, prior to Klopp's arrival, after undergoing hip surgery in the summer.
