Jurgen Klopp praised Philippe Coutinho's "unbelievable skill" after the Brazilian's brace helped Liverpool to a 3-1 win at Chelsea.
Liverpool were trailing after just four minutes at Stamford Bridge following an early Ramires header, but a superb strike from Coutinho deep into first-half injury time drew Liverpool level.
Coutinho added a second on 74 minutes when he sent a shot past Asmir Begovic via a deflection off John Terry, and substitute Christian Benteke then completed the scoring.
"Philippe is a great player," Klopp told BT Sport. "He has unbelievable skill, he's a great guy.
"You have to fight, you have to work and that's what he did today -- he got back what he invested."
Jose Mourinho was clearly unhappy that referee Mark Clattenburg did not show Lucas Leiva a second yellow card for a foul on Ramires, but Klopp said: "You cannot win at Chelsea without a little bit of luck.
"It's a difficult game, especially in this situation. We had not the best start, it was very warm and we needed a few minutes to come in, but we were in the game and I knew we would get some chances.
"We can do better, for sure, but for today it's absolutely OK."
