Danny Ings vows to take Liverpool chance after Burnley transfer

Danny Ings has said he will give his all to make his transfer to Liverpool a success.

Ings, 22, is set to join Liverpool this summer when his contract at Burnley expires, following the club's relegation from the Premier League.

The England under-21s striker, who started his career at Bournemouth, scored 11 Premier League goals last season and he has vowed to take his chance at Anfield with both hands ahead of the 2015-16 campaign.

"Words can't describe it, the move that I've got for myself," Ings, who is currently with England U21s at the European Under-21 Championship, said in The Guardian.

"At the same time, I've worked my way from the bottom, so it is even more special for me.

"It is a challenge I am looking forward to. I never sort of get complacent with anything like that and now I've got that move I will work even harder to try and get into that team and be the best professional I can be."
