Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard made his 500th Premier League appearance for the club in their match at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
The 34-year-old, who has spent his entire career at Anfield but is leaving in the summer to join MLS club LA Galaxy, becomes only the 12th player to hit the 500 mark for one club in the top flight.
In the Premier League era, only his former Liverpool colleague Jamie Carragher, with 508 appearances, and Manchester United's Ryan Giggs, who chalked up 632, have achieved the feat.

Gerrard's hopes of ending his Liverpool career with one final trophy were dashed by Aston Villa last week, as Tim Sherwood's side defeated the Merseysiders 2-1 in the FA Cup semifinal at Wembley.
On Friday, the Daily Mail reported that Gerrard and Frank Lampard will be honoured for their contributions to English football by the Professional Footballers' Association at the weekend.
The contributions made by the former England international midfielders will be recognised by the footballers' union at its annual awards ceremony in London.

Gerrard and Lampard have won 19 major trophies between them, including two Champions League triumphs, and have a joint total of 220 international caps.
Gerrard, who made his England debut in 2000, played in the 2006, 2010 and 2014 World Cups and was captain for the last two of those.
In 2012, he became the sixth England player to win 100 caps but called time on his international career in July 2014 after amassing 114 appearances.
