Dimitri Cavare looks to have played his final game for Lens after being ruled out for the rest of the season with damaged ligaments in his knee. Coach Antoine Kombouare announced the news in his press conference ahead of the weekend match against Caen. Cavare, a Lens youth product, was sold to Rennes on February 2 but was seeing out the season with Lens on loan. "His season is over," Kombouare said of the 20-year-old right-back. "He has an appointment with the Rennes doctor tomorrow to plan an operation. "Regarding his future recovery, there will be a decision to be made in consultation with him, Rennes and us. We will follow closely the decisions taken by the Rennes doctors. "This is a big blow for him and for us."
