Leicester's Kasper Schmeichel: I don't care how we win Premier League

Kasper Schmeichel says he is not concerned with how Leicester City win the Premier League title, just as long they do win it.

The Foxes took another step towards securing their first ever title after drawing 1-1 at Manchester United on Sunday.

That result means second-placed Tottenham have to beat Chelsea on Monday otherwise the trophy will be Leicester's.

Should Spurs get the victory at Stamford Bridge, the Foxes would still have games against Everton and Chelsea to pick up the points required to win the Premier League.

"I don't care how we win it -- as long as we win it," Schmeichel is quoted as saying by FourFourTwo. "Tottenham are a good team but they are up against a very good team in Chelsea.

"We hope Chelsea win or get a draw -- however it comes, as long as it comes. It's not over. Spurs are quite capable of going to Stamford Bridge and getting the win."

Leicester were made to work for their point against United, falling behind to an early Anthony Martial opener, while they played the closing stages of the game with 10 men after Danny Drinkwater was sent off.

"We are slightly [disappointed]," Schmeichel said. "We had chances, but so did they. It was an open game.

"Going 1-0 down at Old Trafford, it takes character [to come back]. We showed a lot of character today. Hanging on with 10 men was tough, and we were still trying to find the winner."
