Still fuming after Leicester City's 3-1 home loss to Chelsea on Wednesday, Foxes boss Nigel Pearson has labelled a journalist an 'ostrich' in a bizarre post-match rant.
The Leicester manager took exception to being asked what criticism of his players had upset him over the season.
"To win four games on the spin, at any level, but certainly at Premier League level is difficult," Pearson said.
"For the players to have to deal with the amount of criticism and negativity that we've had to endure over the course of the season has been something which has tested us all.
"So, without wanting to spend too much time talking about that, I think the players come out with an awful lot of credit for dealing with setbacks. You know, I expect them to deal with tonight's setback well.
When sports reporter Ian Baker asked what in particular had upset the him, the Foxes boss responded angrily.
"Well Ian, have you been on holiday for six months? Have you? Have you been away for six months?
"I think you must have been either head in the clouds, away on holiday or reporting on a different team because if you don't know that, the answer to that question, I think your question is absolutely unbelievable.
"The fact that you do not understand where I'm coming from. If you don't know the answer to that question, then I think you are an ostrich. Well your head must be in the sand. Is your head in the sand? Are you flexible enough to get your head in the sand? My suspicion would be no. I can, you can't. You can't.
If getting called an ostrich by Nigel Pearson is not a career highlight i don't know what is.

"Listen you've been here often enough. For you to ask that question, I think you're either being very, very silly or you're being absolutely stupid -- one of the two. Because for you to ask that question -- I'm sorry son but you are daft."
Pearson continued to talk at the writer despite a member of Leicester's media team trying to wrap up the press conference.
"No -- you're wrong, you're wrong. You've been in here. You've been here and I know you have. So don't give that crap with me. Please -- don't give that crap with me.
"I'll smile at you because I can afford to smile at you. Now do you want to ask a different question or do you want to ask it differently? Go on, ask it, ask it. Or are you not capable?"
It was not the first time Pearson had been involved in a spat with a journalist this season, calling one a p---k after Leicester's 0-0 draw with Hull in March.
