Juventus to face Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Benfica in International Champions Cup

Juventus will have the opportunity to gain a measure of revenge for their Champions League elimination when they face Real Madrid in the International Champions Cup this summer.

The teams will meet at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, on Aug. 4 in the last of Juventus' three games in the competition after they face Bayern Munich and Benfica in their second consecutive summer tour in the United States.

Juve, who lost to eventual champions Barcelona but beat Paris Saint-Germain and Serie A rivals Roma last year, will play the Bundesliga champions in Philadelphia on July 24 and the Portuguese participants four days later in Harrison, New Jersey.

In 2016, Juve participated in the Australian edition of the ICC, winning the event after a 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur and a penalty shootout defeat to Melbourne Victory -- a game in which coach Massimiliano Allegri fielded a reserve team.

Allegri named strong sides in preparation for the 2017-18 season and he is expected to take his full roster this summer, especially with many of his regular first-teamers not involved in the World Cup after Italy missed out on qualifying for the first time since 1958.
