Juventus coach Max Allegri is under contract for "many more years" and will not be leaving the club for the same role at Paris Saint-Germain after the season, general manager Giuseppe Marotta has said.
Marotta, speaking to Mediaset Premium before Juventus' goalless draw against SPAL on Saturday, emphasised that Allegri, appointed before the 2014-15 season, has no reason to leave.
"Allegri has a contract with us for many years," Marotta said, according to ANSA. "The relationship with him is excellent, we are still one of the most important clubs in the world and there are no indications [he wants to leave] so it's not a problem for us."
PSG coach Unai Emery's contract expires in the summer and the club are already considering his replacements, including Chelsea's Antonio Conte and Tottenham Hotspur's Mauricio Pochettino.
La Gazetta dello Sport reported on Saturday that Allegri is also on PSG's shortlist because Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the emir of Qatar and founder of club owner Oryx Qatar Sports Investments, appreciates Allegri's leadership.
Marotta also reiterated that Juventus are focused on a move for Liverpool midfielder Emre Can, who joined the club from Bayer Leverkusen in summer 2014.
The general manager was asked about reports linking Arsenal's Jack Wilshere to a move to Italy, and Marotta deflected the question by again bringing up Can.
"It is well-known that we are concentrating on Emre Can, who will have to give us an answer," Marotta said. "He will be the first goal if he shows interest. Otherwise, we will have to move to other targets."
Marotta also said that he "cannot explain" why Gianluigi Buffon, who was called up to the Italy national team for friendlies later this month, decided not to retire from international competition, and he said that a Champions League meeting with Real Madrid was inevitable.
"Sooner or later, we must face them," Marotta said. "They will be difficult, but we will not be afraid."
