Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri: 'Now we'll try to win the third'

Juventus boss Max Allegri hailed Lazio for a "great game" in Juve's Coppa Italia triumph, before shifting focus to thoughts of an historic treble for the Italian champions.

Juventus became the first club to collect 10 Coppa Italia titles after Wednesday's 2-1 win in extra time at the Stadio Olimpico, after which Allegri complimented his opponents for a match "worthy of a final."

"Lazio had a great game, it was worthy of a final and we knew this would be different from in Serie A," he said.

"We did well, they did well, they were unlucky hitting the woodwork twice in the same move and we were fortunate on our goal.

"Football is made of incidents. Before their upright we had two or three favourable situations we didn't make the most of.

"They were very aggressive in the first half, while we did better after the break and should've been sharper, as two or three times we delayed the pass when attacking the line."

With two-thirds of a treble now in the bag, Allegri said it's time now for the Turin club to turn their attention to June 6's Champions League final against Barcelona in Berlin.

"I have to say that it wasn't easy for the lads to win the Scudetto and Coppa Italia. Now we'll try to win the third," said Allegri.

"It is not easy to play in three tournaments all the way through a season. Now we will try to nourish this dream and turn it into reality."
