Giorgio Chiellini determined to lift Coppa Italia with Juventus

Giorgio Chiellini has said winning the Coppa Italia on Wednesday night is Juventus' No. 1 priority.

Despite June 6's Champions League final being on the horizon and Juventus having clinched a fourth straight Scudetto, defender Chiellini is focused on Wednesday's meeting with Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico.

"This is a special final because it's a cup that we've not won for so many years," he said at a news conference in the Italian capital on Tuesday. "I've been at Juve for 10 years and we've only played one final, and we still haven't digested losing that one.

"We've put in a lot of sweat and graft to get here, so this is a cup we really want to win. Even if the fans may not agree, our thoughts are exclusively on tomorrow's match."

Victory would also keep the Bianconeri on course for a Treble which only Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan have succeeded in achieving before them in 2010.

"I think our strength has been in the way we have been able to take things step by step and not let any dreaming make us look too far ahead," Chiellini added.

"We've earned our place in these finals by playing one game at a time, one step at a time, so let's get this game tomorrow out of the way. We hope to win it and we'll do all we can to win it, and then we will have time to prepare for Barcelona. There's still a long way to go before we can talk about a treble."

The focus is therefore firmly on lifting a trophy on Wednesday, which is why coach Massimiliano Allegri is set to name his strongest team, including Andrea Pirlo.

"He's going to start -- there's no resting tomorrow," Allegri said. "Between now and June 6 -- we've got tomorrow's game, then Napoli and then Verona -- I don't think we can consider resting because we've got to train and arrive at June 6 in our best possible condition.

"First let's think of tomorrow's game and then we'll see what we do after."
