Paul Pogba should join Barcelona and not return to France - Juninho

Paul Pogba should sign for Barcelona and "never go back to France" despite interest from Paris Saint-Germain, French football analyst Juninho Pernambucano has told RMC.

France international Pogba, 22, is one of the most sought-after players in football after helping Juventus to a fourth successive Serie A title.

And although he signed a three-year contract extension until 2019 earlier this season, he has been tipped to leave Turin in the summer for a world record fee.

PSG, along with Barca and Real Madrid, could afford to sign Pogba, who grew up just outside Paris, but former Lyon star Juninho said: "Barca, if they are capable of buying Pogba, it's good for them.

"This team, with Pogba, can win for many years more. With Barca's style of playing in a 4-3-3, it's ideal.

"At Madrid, he would undoubtedly need more time to adapt. I would choose Barca, and I would never go back to France."

Barcelona star Neymar has already said he would love to see Pogba move to the Camp Nou.
