Carlos Tevez agent quashes Boca link: He'll respect contract with Juventus

Juventus striker Carlos Tevez will not be joining Boca Juniors this summer, according to his representative Adrian Ruocco.

Tevez, 31, has a contract in Turin until 2016 and has been linked with a move back to Argentina despite scoring 17 goals in 25 league games for the club this season.

Indeed, Boca Juniors' president Daniel Angelici recently claimed that "the door was open" for the striker to return to his boyhood club.

However, with Juve chasing a treble from a fourth consecutive Scudetto, Coppa Italia and UEFA Champions League glory, Ruocco insists he will see out his deal.

"He [Angelici] is playing with the sentiments of the fans, as much the Boca supporters as the Juve ones," he told Radio La Red.

"The only guarantee is that Tevez wants to respect his contract with Juventus. We want to avoid further pressure on Tevez in a decisive moment of the season for him and Juventus.

"As everyone knows, Tevez will end his career at Boca, there are no doubts about that.

"However, he will return later on and we still need to see when, because he has a contract to respect. As of today, that contract is to 2016."
