Juventus move closer to Wesley Sneijder deal - reports

Galatasaray's Wesley Sneijder has moved closer to a transfer to Juventus, according to reports in Gazzetta dello Sport and in Turkey.

Sneijder's agent is in talks with the Turkish side, and the club's initial request for 20 million euros was reduced to 12-13 million on Thursday night.

Juventus are not prepared to pay more than seven million euros -- roughly the sum that the club just pocketed after selling their half of Manolo Gabbiadini to Napoli -- but it clearly indicates a willingness to negotiate.

According to Milliyet, the Dutch international has already verbally agreed terms on a contract worth 4.5 million euros per year, while negotiations over the fee continue. Sneijder's agent, Guido Albers, has alrady told Dutch media that "Wes wants (to return to) Italy", two years after leaving Milan.

Anderlecht's young Belgian talent Dennis Praet is also being targeted if a deal for Sneijder is unable to be completed.
