Same again for Latics

Lee Johnson would ideally like to keep the same XI for Oldham's Johnstone's Paint Trophy contest against Bradford.

Latics recorded their first win of the season at Doncaster on Saturday and Johnson would dearly love to retain the same line-up, but envisages "three or four changes" because of knocks.

Defender George Elokobi has declared himself fully fit, though, despite needing stitches in a head wound.

However, fellow centre-back Genseric Kusunga will miss out after being called up to Angola's squad for games against Gabon and Burkina Faso.

Bradford pair Aaron Mclean and Ben Williams will be hoping to return to the starting line-up.

Mclean's start to the season has been hindered by a calf injury and he started on the bench in Saturday's win at Rochdale, while goalkeeper Williams, who made way for on-loan Jordan Pickford, has appeared in both of City's Capital One Cup ties.

Boss Phil Parkinson, who has no new injury or suspension problems, must decide whether to recall Billy Clarke as he continues his recovery from a recent hamstring problem.

Defender Andrew Davies (broken arm) remains sidelined as the Bantams chase a sixth win from eight matches.
