Andrea Pirlo planning Italy stay until 2016 European Championships

Italy midfielder Andrea Pirlo has promised he will continue to present for the Azzurri until the European Championships in 2016, but declined to address his future with Juventus.

Pirlo, whose Juventus side fell to Barcelona in the Champions League final last Saturday, has been rumoured to be considering a move to the United States and MLS. But the elegant playmaker was in the mood to only discuss his prospects with the national team.

"I have always enjoyed playing and doing my talking on the field. At times there is too much chatter off it, but I'm used to that," the 2006 World Cup champion told Rai Sport following Italy's 1-1 draw with Croatia on Friday.

"I am still enjoying myself thankfully and that means I will continue playing as long as I feel good.

"My future? I am with the Nazionale right now, so I am thinking about the Nazionale. Euro 2016? Yes."
