Giorgio Chiellini dismisses Adriano Galliani's Supercoppa claim

Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini has hit back at AC Milan general manager Adriano Galliani after he claimed the Supercoppa odds were stacked in Juve's favour.

Galliani's comments came after Milan arrived in Qatar 24 hours later than their opponents because of a technical fault with their plane.

He said Juve had gained an advantage for the match on Friday by being able to acclimatise to local conditions sooner.

But Chiellini brushed off the remarks, saying he would "expect to hear them from witty old men at the bar in Livorno."

"To hear him saying that the result will be falsified because of the delay... come on," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I've been with Juve for 12 years and right from day one I've heard pretty much everything and even worse. One thing is certain -- remarks like these don't get to us in the slightest."

The 32-year-old defender said he was looking forward to the match and added: "If you win the Supercoppa you love it, and if you lose it you are full of regrets.

"I want to be loving it tomorrow night."
