Filippo Inzaghi says brother Simone's Lazio can end Juventus home run

Filippo Inzaghi has tipped his brother Simone's Lazio side to end Juventus' league record 26-game winning run in home matches on Saturday.

Simone Inzaghi was confirmed as Lazio coach in the summer after talks with Marcelo Bielsa broke down.

No Biancocelesti coach boasts a better points-per-game ratio, with his side fourth in the table and on a run of four wins in five games.

And his brother, a former AC Milan coach who now works at third division side Venezia, told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "Knowing Simone, he's going to go there to try to win.

"After all, losing at Juve is normal anyway. You always start 1-0 down at the Juventus Stadium due to the fantastic atmosphere so you need a miracle -- but Lazio can find it.

"They've played an extraordinary season so far, so it's going to be a tasty match. Lazio have nothing to lose and can play without any pressure."

Filippo Inzaghi added that his brother had excelled in the Lazio job, saying: "It was mission impossible and he has made it possible.

"I saw my brother's desire and determination in how he turned down other offers while waiting for [Lazio president Claudio] Lotito.

"He felt that he was going to coach Lazio in the end. Then he started working and transmitted his determination to the team.

"It's not going to be easy to continue like this, but he has the quality to succeed. I'm delighted for him. He's living an extraordinary adventure, and he's a Lazio fan too."

While Lazio could end to Juve's flawless home streak, Filippo Inzaghi said he could not see anybody ending their five-year grip on the Italian title.

"I think Juve will win the Scudetto, Roma and Napoli will qualify for the Champions League, with Inter in the hunt for third place," he said.

"Then there will be Lazio, Milan, Fiorentina and Atalanta battling it out for the Europa League. I'm supporting Lazio and Simone."
