AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca eyes reunion with PSG coach Unai Emery

AC Milan forward Carlos Bacca has said he would relish the opportunity to be reunited with his former Sevilla coach Unai Emery at Paris Saint-Germain.

Colombia international Bacca, Sevilla's leading scorer in his two seasons at the club before joining Milan in 2015, said PSG showed an interest in buying him this summer.

"The reality is that they were in contact with my agent, but they didn't have a vacancy for a non-European player," told Spanish radio station Cadena Ser

That situation changed when Brazailian defender David Luiz was sold back to Chelsea on deadline day, and Bacca said he would like to move to the Parc des Princes, adding: "Emery is the best coach I've ever had.

"He is the coach that brought out the best in me and the one that has given me the most confidence.

"He is one of the best coaches in the world and I would like to work with him again."

While it remains to be seen whether PSG make a move for Bacca in January, they were not the only club interested in taking the 30-year-old away from AC Milan in the summer.

Premier League side West Ham agreed terms with the Rossoneri in the summer, only for the deal to fall through.

"I thought about West Ham a lot, I thought about my family and how they would adapt [to England]," he said. "The deal did not materialise."

Barca, who is under contract with Milan until June 2019, has scored three goals in three Serie A starts this season.
