Juventus have ridiculed AC Milan after they claimed the Serie A champions had manipulated TV images to suggest Carlos Tevez's goal on Saturday was onside. Juve beat Milan 3-1 in Turin, but the match was again overshadowed by a war of words between the two clubs. Ever since Sulley Muntari was controversially denied a goal when the sides met in February 2012, conspiracy theories have frequently emerged when the two sides have met, and Juve again found themselves accused of benefiting from a favourable decision on Saturday. Milan claimed Tevez's 14th-minute goal should have been ruled out for offside, using Twitter to post a television image of the goal that they claimed showed the offside line drawn at an angle to favour the Argentina international's position. The tweet read: "Do those two lines produced by Juventus' TV look parallel to you? We don't think so." Milan's accusation appeared to be based on the fact that the replay was only shown at half-time, and not during the game. Milan's general manager Adriano Galliani told the Corriere della Sera: "Other than other clubs in Serie A, the production of the television images for Juve home games is controlled by the club itself. "They purposely don't show the replay of the opening goal. I'm going to kick up a storm at the next Lega [Serie A] assembly to ensure the Lega can produce all of the games without conceding the option to just one club to control their own images. I am against the fact that they just end up showing what they want." Milan's tweet drew widespread ridicule on social media, with television commentator Fabio Caressa making fun of the Rossoneri, saying on Sky: "I've just explained to my daughter, who's in primary school, so it's not that hard to understand, that it's called perspective. It's purely geometrical." Galliani, who studied geometry, faced further mockery when Juve published a statement on their official website on Sunday. "Mr Adriano Galliani, vice president and CEO of AC Milan SpA and vice president of the Lega Serie A, has decided to revisit two of his old passions: television and geometry," the statement read. "Galliani is trying to create a farcical scandal in the media in a clumsy attempt to distract Milan fans from the clear-cut result in yesterday's match: 3-1. "Galliani seems to be unaware that for decades he has been operating in two main sectors: football and television. He thus seems to be unaware that all technological, legal and regulatory developments have passed before his eyes, if indeed they have not been approved by Mr Galliani himself." A few hours later, Milan issued an official response on their official website, which read: "Arrogance is a Juventus trait and something that they cannot escape from. "It would be superfluous to respond to anyone like this. It is a good thing, however, that even they agree to open up the discussion and debate over the production of TV graphics which emerged following the episode during Juventus-Milan last night." Juve's victory saw them move 24 points clear of Milan, who have dropped to 11th in the table.
