Inter Milan's Marcelo Brozovic extends contract until 2021

Marcelo Brozovic has signed a new contract with Inter Milan, keeping him at the club until 2021.

Brozovic, 24, who joined Inter from Dinamo Zagreb in 2015, has returned to the first-team squad under new coach Stefano Pioli after being frozen out by his predecessor Frank de Boer.

Chelsea and Juventus are among the clubs to have been linked with a move for the Croatia international, but he has decided to commit his future to Inter.

"F.C. Internazionale is pleased to announce Marcelo Brozovic has extended his contract with the club," an Inter statement read.

"The Croatian midfielder's new deal runs until 30 June 2021."

Brozovic's agent Miroslav Bicanic revealed that his client turned down the chance to join Chelsea in the summer in favour of remaining at Inter.
