Roberto Mancini calm about Inter Milan future despite transfer woes

Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini has said he is relaxed about his future despite reported differences of opinion with the club's new owners.

Mancini is reported to be unhappy with the lack of investment in new players and has already held talks with the Suning Group, which took control earlier this summer.

The coach, speaking after a 4-1 friendly defeat to Bayern Munich, expressed his hope that the situation might change once the players have returned to Italy.

"Let's see if there is any news then on the transfer front," Corriere dello Sport reported him as saying. "Let's just see what happens.

"My motivation as a coach is to create an even better team and to win. The club does whatever can possibly be done.

"I'm serene. I love football and I enjoy myself out on the field. When I am out there, I forget other things."

Mancini could yet lose a key player, with Napoli reportedly set to make an improved bid for Mauro Icardi in the coming days.

Icardi's partner in attack, Stevan Jovetic, told Mediaset Icardi was "great player" and that everyone at Inter "would be sorry if he were to leave."
