Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini has said he wants to keep hold of Marcelo Brozovic in the winter transfer window despite reports that Arsenal are ready to table a bid.
Croatia international midfielder Brozovic is on loan from Dinamo Zagreb -- with the move to be made permanent within days -- and Mancini believes he has what it takes to become one of the world's best players.
But his fine displays for the Serie A leaders are reported to have caught the attention of other clubs, with reports in Italy suggesting Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keen to bring him to England.
Speaking at a news conference ahead of Inter's game against Empoli on Wednesday, Mancini said: "Brozovic is settling in really well. If he keeps a level head, he can become one of the best players around.
"We have no intention of selling him, not even for a massive offer. We do not want to lose him. He will need to work hard, but he has incredible quality."
Reports in Italy have claimed Arsenal are willing to pay around £18 million for Brozovic, with some claiming he would be sold on as soon as the move from Zagreb had become permanent.
La Repubblica said Inter would be willing to do business in order to fund moves for other players.
Mancini warned his players to be wary of the trip to Empoli, adding: "We'll need to be perfect because Empoli are a very good side in great form. Marco Giampaolo is doing a fantastic job there."
