Jonathan Biabiany set to play again after heart issue

Jonathan Biabiany is set to resume his career almost nine months after a heart problem was discovered in a medical check.

The French forward has started light training in a bid to return to action next season, although further tests will first be required before he is given the green light to make his return.

Having terminated his contract with Parma, Biabiany is set to join Inter Milan next season, just as long as he can prove he is fit enough to resume his playing career.

According to Sky Sport Italia, he is currently working with medics at the Nerazzurri, who are evaluating his condition ahead of a possible return to full training in preseason.

An irregular heartbeat was discovered when Biabiany underwent a medical prior to a proposed move to AC Milan last August. He was ordered to rest indefinitely, but after terminating his contract with Parma last month, he is now working on a return.

The 27-year-old faces a definite decision over his future in July, when he is due to undergo a thorough medical before signing a contract with Inter.
