Nemanja Vidic agent hits out at Roberto Mancini Inter rift 'lies'

Nemanja Vidic's agent insists claims that the Inter Milan defender has fallen out with coach Roberto Mancini are "lies."

The Serbian has struggled to make his mark with the Nerazzurri this season, first under Walter Mazzarri and more recently with Mancini. Vidic has played 15 league games this season for the ninth-placed side, scoring one goal, and has been used just four times in the Europa League.

Indeed, there have been reports the 33-year-old could be on his way back to former club Manchester United next season after he was left on the bench for the 2-2 draw with Napoli last weekend. Reports of a rift with Mancini were, however, given short shrift.

"They are just lies," agent Silvano Martina told Fc-Inter.net. "All I can say is that Inter was our priority and [interest from other clubs] is not important right now."

Despite the doubts raised over his client's future, Martina also claimed that Vidic was happy in Milan.

"He's happy, I'd say," he added. "Inter are a big club and every player is happy to wear a Nerazzurri shirt, but I'm not a magician to know what will happen in the future."
