Bosnia and Herzegovina in Kirin Cup final with penalty win over Denmark

Ten-man Bosnia and Herzegovina booked their place in the Kirin Cup final after defeating Denmark 4-3 on penalties following a 2-2 draw on Friday.

Bosnia captain Haris Medunjanin converted the winning penalty, with his side now set to face either Japan or Bulgaria on Tuesday in Osaka for the Kirin Cup title.

Milan Duric had scored twice for Bosnia in normal time, with Simon Kjaer and Viktor Fischer finding the back of the net for Denmark.

Kjaer redirected a shot by Christian Eriksen in the 22nd minute to give Denmark a 1-0 lead and they doubled their advantage four minutes before half-time through Fischer.

Duric headed home in the 52nd minute for Bosnia but they soon saw defender Ognjen Vranjes sent off after picking up a second yellow card for taking down Eriksen.

Duric then bagged his second of the game in the 84th minute to send the game to penalties.
