Marouane Fellaini has been ruled out of Belgium's Euro 2016 qualifier against Wales in Cardiff, just two days before the match.
Fellaini, 27, suffered a groin injury as the Belgium squad trained at Anderlecht's Constant Vanden Stock Stadium and coach Marc Wilmots confirmed the midfielder would miss the game in a tweet on the official Belgian FA account on Wednesday afternoon.
"He is not ready for selection for #walbel and leaves the squad for further rehabilitation,'' Wilmots said on the BelgianRedDevils account.
Le scan de @Fellaini montre une réaction osseuse au bassin. Il ne sera pas prêt pour #walbel et quitte la sélection pour revalidation.

Belgium, who are second in the FIFA world rankings, have plenty of depth to their squad but the loss of Fellaini would still come as a blow to the Red Devils.
The midfielder has scored eight goals in his last 13 games for club and country and was on target twice in Belgium's 4-3 friendly victory against France in Paris on Sunday night.
Belgium lead the way in Group B at the halfway stage of the Euro 2016 qualifying campaign but only on goal difference with Wales in second place.
