Netherlands' Daley Blind out of Poland, Austria friendlies

Daley Blind will not be adding to his 31 senior caps for Netherlands this summer.

Daley Blind will not travel with the Netherlands national team for their upcoming friendlies against Poland and Austria this week as the Manchester United defender has sustained a calf injury.

Blind had been in line to play in the games in Gdansk on Wednesday and Vienna on Saturday before their two opponents head to France for Euro 2016.

Olivier Giroud bemused by France fans booing him ahead of Euro 2016

France coach Didier Deschamps is unhappy with some fans reaction to Olivier Giroud in their win over Cameroon.

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has said he finds it hard to understand why some France fans jeered him during their 3-2 victory over Cameroon on Monday.

Giroud, 29, got France's second goal in the friendly win in Nantes as the Euro 2016 hosts stepped up their preparations for next month's tournament.

The former Montpellier forward's strike from a wonderful Paul Pogba cross was his fifth in his last four starts for his country.
