AC Milan's ICC game vs. Inter in China cancelled because of Europa League

AC Milan's game against local rivals Inter set for China this July has been cancelled because of a conflict with the Europa League.

Milan are assured of a sixth-placed finish in Serie A, qualifying them for the Europa League third qualifying round, starting July 27.

As a result, the club will not be able to fulfil their International Champions Cup match against Inter that had been scheduled for three days earlier in Nanjing.

The game will go on without them, as the ICC said it was in the "final stages of confirming a high quality replacement club" to face Inter instead.

Milan will still face Borussia Dortmund on July 18 in Guangzhou and Bayern Munich on July 22 in Shenzhen as scheduled.
