Chelsea will face Bayern Munich and Inter Milan in Singapore as part of their preseason preparations for the 2017-18 campaign, the Premier League leaders have announced.
Chelsea, who have already unveiled a match against Arsenal at Beijing's Bird's Nest Stadium on Saturday July 22, will take on Bayern three days later and Inter on Saturday July 29 at the 55,000-capacity National Stadium as part of their participation in the International Champions Cup.
Chelsea's match with Bayern will be the first time the two teams have met since the 2013 UEFA Super Cup.
"I am very happy we have our preseason tour plans for next season in place," Antonio Conte told Chelsea's official website. "Travelling to Singapore will give us excellent facilities to play and train, and we will face strong opposition. This is all good for my team and will help us to prepare for the next season.
"More importantly, I know Chelsea has millions of passionate fans in the region. I am looking forward to meeting them and I think we will play two exciting matches for them."
Former Chelsea striker Tore Andre Flo, who now works with the academy and was in Singapore for the announcement of the preseason games, told the club's website: "It will be a great experience for Chelsea to be here.
"To play here against good opposition just before the season starts and in nice warm conditions, it's going to do the team well.
"It used to be that you would come out on tour and play against local teams but these are really good competitive games which make it more interesting for the players as well as the supporters that are over here.
"The supporters here are very passionate about football but at the same time, they're also very polite towards us. They ask to take pictures with nice manners and they're generally very happy to see their heroes.
"The fans always come out in big numbers, wearing their supporter gear and it's nice for players to come halfway across the world and to see that they're appreciated over here as well.
"It is important for a club like Chelsea to expand our supporter base and obviously, Asia is a big market and is growing very fast. So it's really important for the club to come here and to acknowledge our fans in this part of the world."
