U.S.'s Danny Williams breaks foot with Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield Town have ruled out U.S. international Danny Williams with a fractured foot.

The attacking midfielder is scheduled to see a specialist after sustaining the injury in last week's home draw against Leicester City in the Premier League.

"We have a specialist appointment [on Friday] when we will get some information on how long he will be out," said Huddersfielder manager David Wagner, also a U.S. international in his playing days.

"It's a small fracture so we will see, but for sure he's out for Saturday and anything else we'll know over the weekend."

Williams played regularly last season in the Championship but has found it harder to find playing time in the top flight, as last week's game was his first league start of the season after two substitute appearances.

Forwards Collin Quaner, Steve Mounie and Laurent Depoitre are also out injured for the Terriers' trip to Burnley, leaving Elias Kachunga to lead the line.

"It's a little bit unlucky that all the strikers have something, but as a team we stay together," Kachunga said. "When some players are injured, the next one comes in and can play a good role."
