Dynamo's Wilmer Cabrera believes in 'miracles' ahead of Sounders 2nd leg

Houston Dynamo head coach Wilmer Cabrera believes his side can achieve a "miracle" by advancing to the MLS Cup final, despite their 2-0 loss at home to Seattle Sounders.

Goals from Gustav Svensson and Will Bruin secured the Sounders victory against 10-man Dynamo in the first leg of the Western Conference Championship final this week.

Dynamo head into Dec. 1's second leg in Seattle needing to overturn the two-goal lead and win on the road for only the third time this season, but Cabrera has faith in his players.

"We have to prepare ourselves for Seattle," Cabrera told MLS' official website. "In Seattle, can we win? Yes. We're going to go with the mentality that we can win that game because we have a good team. We can be dangerous.

Wilmer Cabrera is confident his side can make the MLS Cup final.

"But it's going to be a tough game. We have to have a good mentality. We're going to take risks over there. We're going to take risks because that's the only option.

"It's another 90 minutes at their [Seattle] home. And we need to prepare ourselves for those 90 minutes or it's going to be the last 90 minutes for us. Or it's going to be some kind of miracle. I believe in that."

Dynamo keeper Joe Willis became the third player in MLS history to save two penalties in the playoffs after denying Nicolas Lodeiro in the first leg.

"I think we'll go with the same mentality [in the second leg] that we came in today," Willis added. "A few things didn't go our way but for the most part I thought we played pretty well, Seattle's a good team, credit to them."
