BERLIN -- Lukas Podolski is determined to follow up Germany's World Cup success by winning Euro 2016 after finding form with new club Galatasaray.
Podolski, 30, ended his three-year spell with Arsenal this summer, having spent the second half of the 2014-15 campaign on loan at Inter Milan.
The Germany international was not a regular starter at either the Emirates Stadium or San Siro, scoring just four times in 29 matches for both clubs the season after lifting the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

But Podolski's Turkish transfer has so far paid off with the forward netting seven goals in 17 appearances for new club Galatasaray -- and he wants to follow that form by succeeding with Germany in next year's European Championship in France.
"I am very satisfied [with the move], not only because of my goals," Podolski said in Berlin during the launch of the new Nationalmannschaft kit for Euro 2016. "I play on a regular basis, and when I feel trust, I play well. My goal is to become [a] European champion."
Despite his struggles at club level, Podolski has received regular callups to the national team, and continues to add to his impressive tally of 126 caps.
Germany coach Joachim Low has praised Podolski's experience and mentality on numerous occasions, but also warned him in May that he needs regular playing time to remain an option for the national team.
Following his move to Galatsaray, Podolski remains a candidate for a squad place at Euro 2016.
