Julian Brandt not leaving Bayer Leverkusen for Bayern Munich - Voller

Bayer Leverkusen sporting director is convinced young star Julian Brandt will not leave the club to join Bayern Munich in the near future.

The 20-year-old winger has featured at all levels for Germany's international set-up and earned his first senior cap in May of 2016.

The Bremen-born Brandt has appeared in all eight of Leverkusen's matches this season, including two in the Champions League, and has recently suggested a move to Bavaria would interest him.

But Voller is certain the youngster isn't leaving the Bayer Arena anytime soon.

"I am convinced Julian will be playing for Leverkusen for many more years," Voller told Sky Sport.

"I am not surprised that teams like Bayern and other big clubs from across Europe are keeping an eye on him. That's a compliment for what we do.

"But we know what Julian's contract looks like and we know he is feeling very well here.

"It would not be the first time a player reaches a stage where he wants to leave. I hope it will not happen with Julian, but we will just move on if it happens."

Brandt's contract with Leverkusen runs until June 2019.
