Borussia Monchengladbach will take fight to Bayern - Fabian Johnson

Borussia Monchengladbach's Fabian Johnson has said his side will carry on attacking when they host runaway Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich on Saturday.

Johnson, who struck twice as his side drew 3-3 in a thriller at Hoffenheim, told reporters the Foals were "on top form."

The United States international and his teammates have not tasted defeat since Andre Schubert took over from Lucien Favre following five losses in the season's opening five games.

Gladbach are now fourth in the Bundesliga as they prepare to meet a Bayern side that has dropped only two league points all season.

"They should also feel that we are on a roll," Johnson told reporters after the match at Hoffenheim.

"We are in top form, play courageously and step on the gas in attack. Why should we change that against Bayern?"

Gladbach have scored 28 goals this season, more than any other side bar Bayern and Borussia Dortmund.

Johnson joined Gladbach from Hoffenheim on a free transfer last summer, and after initial struggles has become a permanent fixture on the left of midfield.

"Fabian already was an important player for the structure [of the team] for us last season. He has started scoring goals now, and that structure player will soon become a leader," Eberl said.
