Hamburg defender Emir Spahic has been ordered to pay €75,000 following his fight with Bayer Leverkusen security personnel in April. Spahic, 35, was filmed fighting and aiming a headbutt at Leverkusen's security personnel after the club's penalty shootout defeat to Bayern Munich in the DFB-Pokal in April. The incident reportedly happened after security refused to allow his friends entry to the locker room area. Cologne public prosecutors opened an investigation against the former Bosnia-Herzegovina captain and Leverkusen terminated his contract -- which was due to run to 2016 -- with Spahic signing a one-year-deal at Hamburg in July. The German FA (DFB) fined Spahic €20,000 and suspended him for three months in April, with the ban being softened by the summer break. Despite the new fine from prosecutors, there were better news for Spahic after his lawyer Gottfried Reims confirmed to Express that proceedings against his client were now closed. "The proceedings against my client have been closed," Reims told the paper, with the €75,000 fine set to be put towards three refugee aid organisations. Spahic has since started eight league games for Hamburg and has been sent off once, in the 2-1 defeat at Cologne on Aug. 29.
