Pep Guardiola: Paderborn have nothing to lose vs. Bayern Munich

Bundesliga leaders Paderborn are under no pressure when they visit Bayern Munich on Tuesday, according to the German champions' coach Pep Guardiola.

Bayern welcome the newly-promoted club -- who had never played top-tier football before this season -- to the Allianz Arena, with Ruhr Nachrichten reporting the visitors as favourites for the clash.

And Guardiola is wary of a Paderborn side who have picked up eight points from their first four Bundesliga games, believing they have nothing to lose going into the match.

"They have quality, they're enthusiastic and they're under no pressure," he told a news conference on Monday. "They will attack. It's what they've done so far, and why would they change it? If they win it'll be a huge surprise, but if they lose everything will still be OK."

While Paderborn leading the Bundesliga might come as a surprise to most, their coach Andre Breitenreiter is remaining relaxed about the situation, although he is realistic about the trip to Bayern.

"We're not going there just to take 'selfies' with the World Cup winners. We'll do the best we can in Munich and go for it," he told a news conference. "The lads should enjoy the match, the result isn't my top priority. Bayern Munich are in a class of their own -- we're playing the best team in the world."

Paderborn president Wilfried Finke, a local businessman, added in Bild: "I strongly believe that we will not return from Munich without points."
