Genoa sack coach Ivan Juric after defeat to Sampdoria

Genoa have sacked manager Ivan Juric following a run of poor form which sees the club in the bottom three of the Serie A table.

The club made the announcement on their official club website on Sunday, less than 24 hours after a 2-0 home derby defeat at the hands of Sampdoria.

Juric was in his second spell at the club after being sacked in February this year, only to be reinstated in April following the dismissal of Andrea Mandorlini, who lasted just 50 days in charge.

Genoa, who have won just one of their 12 league matches this season and are currently on a three-match losing run, have not named a replacement.
