Tite announced as new Brazil manager following Dunga's departure

Adenor Leonardo Bacchi, known as "Tite", has been named the new coach of Brazil's national team, according to his club.

Tite has been officially appointed the new manager of Brazil, the Brazilian federation has announced.

The ex-Corinthians manager, who last week was tipped to succeed former national team boss Dunga by club president Roberto de Andrade, was confirmed by the Brazilian federation on Monday.

"It's official! Tite is the coach of the Brazilian national team,'' read a statement on the federation's website.

Colin Kazim-Richards is heading to Brazil.

Celtic striker Colin Kazim-Richards has left the club and joined Brazilian outfit Coritiba, the Scottish Premiership outfit announced on Thursday.

The 29-year-old, who lists Fenerbahce and Galatasaray amongst his former clubs, after starting his career at Bury 12 years ago and then moving on to Brighton and Sheffield United, joined the Scottish champions earlier this year from Dutch side Feyenoord.

Bundesliga, MLS among competitions to trial video assistant referees

Former Premier League referee Peter Walton explains the process behind the video technology to be used during the 2018 World Cup.

FIFA has announced that competitions in six countries -- including Germany's Bundesliga and United States' Major League Soccer -- have been approved to run experiments with video assistant referees (VARs).

The off-line experiments will not involve referees but FIFA says live trials could be run in games next year.

FIFA president Gianni Infantino says he hopes VARs will be used to support refs at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
