Brazilian sensation Vinicius Jr. says he dreams of making the 2018 World Cup squad, as he prepares to move to Real Madrid next summer.

Barcelona agree deal to sign Gremio's Arthur, 21 - sources

Arthur could be the next young Brazilian to move to Barcelona.

Barcelona have reached an agreement in principle with Brazilian club Gremio to sign midfielder Arthur in a deal which could reach €40 million, sources have told ESPN Deportes' Jordi Blanco.

The 21-year-old was named the most valuable player in the Copa Libertadores final as his side won the premier international South American competition in November.

Barcelona technical secretary Robert Fernandez travelled to watch him play in those games and now appears set sign Arthur for a transfer fee...

Derby between Vitoria and Bahia stopped after ninth red card

Bahia's Vinicius sparked a huge fight after his celebration when scoring a penalty in the derby against Vitoria.

A derby clash between Brazilian clubs Bahia and Vitoria was ended 11 minutes before full time on Sunday after Vitoria were left with too few players to finish the match which featured nine red cards and a massive brawl.

With their state league match tied at 1-1, referee Jaílson Macedo de Freitas ended the proceedings in the 79 minute and awarded Bahia a 3-0 victory after Vitoria's Bruno Bispo was sent off for arguing teammate Uillian Correia's second yellow moments before.

Toronto FC signs young Brazilian defender Auro on initial loan

Auro is moving to MLS with Toronto FC.

Toronto FC signed former Brazil youth international defender Auro on loan from Sao Paulo on Tuesday.

The MLS club also has an option to buy the 22-year-old on a permanent basis at the end of the season.

"Auro is a young and versatile defender that will provide us with flexibility within our line-up, both on the left and right side," Toronto FC general manager Tim Bezbatchenko said. "We are pleased to bring him in on a loan deal with an option to buy for the future."
