Paris Saint-Germain to value new QTA contract at €175m - report

Paris Saint-Germain's Edinson Cavani downplayed missing so many clear cut chances in his side's opening victory over Metz.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly set to value their sponsorship contract with Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) at €175 million when they submit their 2016-17 season budget, just over two years after UEFA ruled it was worth only €100m.

PSG -- punished for breaching financial fair play rules in 2014 -- fell foul of European football's governing body when stating that the deal with QTA was worth €200m, with UEFA putting it at half that amount.

David Luiz allays PSG's injury fears by returning to training

Paris Saint-Germain's Edinson Cavani downplayed missing so many clear cut chances in his side's opening victory over Metz.

Paris Saint-Germain have been boosted by the news that the shoulder injury suffered by David Luiz in last Sunday's 3-0 home win over Metz does not look as bad as first feared.

The Brazilian defender left the pitch shortly before half-time at Parc des Princes last weekend to receive treatment on a right shoulder issue.

Luiz, 29, played on for the full 90 minutes but left the stadium with a heavily strapped shoulder because of the problem.

Arsenal target Alexandre Lacazette will stay at Lyon - Aulas

ESPN FC's Mark Donaldson and Paul Mariner evaluate the latest transfer rumours, including a potential move by Alexandre Lacazette.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has insisted that Alexandre Lacazette will remain at the club and has also called on Rachid Ghezzal to extend his contract after the winger turned down a move to Everton.

Last month Lyon said they had rejected Arsenal's bid of €35 million for Lacazette, although the 25-year-old striker has since said that he would be open to leaving this month if his club received "offers that can't be refused."

Lacazette has scored five goals in his first two league matches...

Dante
Dante had pledged his future to Wolfsburg earlier this summer.

Nice have completed the signing of Brazilian defender Dante from Wolfsburg.

The 32-year-old had confirmed on Sunday he was poised to reunite with his former Borussia Monchengladbach coach Lucien Favre at the Ligue 1 club, and the deal was announced on Monday evening once the formalities were completed.

The former Lille, Standard Liege and Bayern Munich man has signed a three-year contract, according to sources, despite pledging his future to Wolfsburg earlier this summer.
