Papy Djilobodji joins Chelsea from Nantes

Chelsea have signed Papy Djilobodji from Nantes on a four-year contract.

Djilobodji, who was in the final year of his Nantes contract, can play at centre-back or in a defensive midfield role and sources earlier told ESPN FC that the clubs had agreed a £2.7 million fee.

The 26-year-old Senegal international had been at the French club since 2009, helping them to promotion in 2013 and going on to make 59 appearances in Ligue 1.

Anthony Martial is "changing galaxy" by leaving Monaco for Manchester United in a deal reported to be worth €80 million, according to France manager Didier Deschamps.

Martial, 19, was given permission to leave French headquarters at Clairefontaine on Monday so that he could finalise a move to Old Trafford.

The attacker has yet to be capped at senior level by France but he is set to become the most expensive French player in history despite playing just 52 matches in Ligue 1.

Marseille midfielder Mario Lemina has joined Italian champions Juventus on a season-long loan with Mauricio Isla and Paolo De Ceglie heading in the opposite direction.
