Zlatan Ibrahimovic leads PSG past Toulouse; Rennes, Bastia stumble

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's late penalty saw Coupe de France holders Paris St Germain edge past Toulouse 2-1 at the Parc des Princes and into the last 16, but Ligue 1 sides Rennes and Bastia both crashed out.

Full-back Francois Moubandje had given the visitors, second bottom in the top flight, an early lead, and it took until almost the hour mark for PSG to find a way back into the tie when defender David Luiz headed in from a corner.

Ibrahimovic, on as a substitute, saw a goal ruled out for offiside against Brazilian Luiz and -- just when time appeared up -- PSG were handed the chance to win the tie when Uros Spajic fouled Layvin Kurzawa in the penalty area.

Veteran Sweden striker Ibrahimovic made no mistake from the spot, sending goalkeeper Mauro Goicoechea the wrong way as the Ligue 1 pacesetters extended their winning run to nine consecutive matches.

Ligue 2 Bourg-en-Bresse pulled off the shock result of the round as they won 3-1 at Rennes.

There was little indication of what was to come later when defender Steven Moreira put Les Rouges et Noirs ahead midway through the first half.

However, Herve Della Maggiore's well-organised outfit, currently eighth in Ligue 2, were level through winger Julien Begue just after the restart.

With 10 minutes left, forward Lakdar Boussaha put the visitors in front to turn the tie on its head, before Senegal frontman Pape Sane secured a memorable victory with a last-minute penalty.

Ligue 2 strugglers Sochaux produced an unexpected 2-1 win at Bastia, with a stoppage-time goal from Raphael Caceres.

The Lion Cubs, who are 18th in the second division, took the lead through Adolphe Teikeu, while Francois Kamano drew the hosts level before half-time.

However, Sochaux, the 2007 Coupe de France winners, secured victory in stoppage time when Caceres converted following a swift counter attack to stun the Stade Armand-Cesari faithful.

There was also a dramatic finish as CFA fourth division club Sarre Union beat Ligue 2 Niort 1-0 with a last-minute goal from Vianney Schermann.

Elsewhere, Ajaccio cruised to a 3-0 home win over Ligue 1 strugglers Guingamp, with a hat trick from Khalid Boutaib.

The striker netted an early header after only five minutes, and doubled the advantage for Le Gaz midway through the first half.

Boutaib completed his treble soon after the restart as Thierry Laurey's side coasted into the last 16.

Bordeaux won 2-1 at Ligue 1 highfliers Angers.

Brazil forward Jussie put the mid-table away side ahead on the stroke of half-time from a corner, with Enzo Crivelli making it 2-0 just before the hour.

Angers -- promoted to the French top flight last season and currently third -- pulled a goal back through a long-range free-kick by Billy Ketkeophomphone, but could not conjure an equaliser as the four-time Coupe de France winners progressed.
