Nantes coach Michel Der Zakarian has said Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain "know how to cheat" as he prepares his players for a Coupe de France tie against them on Wednesday.

Der Zakarian takes the Canaries to the Parc des Princes for the round of 16 tie, hoping to inspire them to another triumph after their defeat of Lyon in the previous round.

And the coach told a news conference his players would need to show a tough mentality in order to overcome Laurent Blanc's stars.

"They are stronger than us. They know how to cheat, and they have all the tools of a great team," he said.

"But you have to get in among them. If we're nice, they'll walk all over us. If we don't believe we can do it, we should stay here."

Despite his poor recent run of form, Edinson Cavani is expected to start for PSG.

The Uruguay international has scored eight league goals in 22 appearances this season, and was wasteful in the 1-1 draw at leaders Lyon on Sunday.

However, Blanc said he would not drop him, adding: "I'm pragmatic -- when a player is going through a difficult spell, you have to think that you have him until the end of the season.

"I try to give a player his confidence back, while also trying to get results. You mustn't be categorical by dropping him, because I don't think that's the best way to give him his confidence back. Let's help him."
