LFP suspends goal-line technology in France after issues

PSG won on Wednesday despite the failure of goal-line technology.

France has suspended the use of goal-line technology in Ligue 1, the Coupe de France and the Coupe de la Ligue, the Ligue de Football Professionnel announced on Thursday.

The move comes as a result of the system failing to signal two goals in the Coupe de la Ligue on Wednesday,

"Last night unfortunately the GLT [goal-line technology] experienced two serious malfunctions in the Amiens-PSG match -- the GLT didn't make the referee's watch vibrate and it was the video assistant who awarded the goal...
